New "Historic Revival" Series
Chipeta Trading is excited to announce the addition of our new HISTORIC REVIVAL series of Native made jewelry! There are many talented contemporary Native artists that have revived the old methods of silversmithing, beadwork and weaving that have been in families for generations. We have carefully chosen to represent a number of these gifted individuals in support of Native Artists throughout the Southwest and to make their works available to our clients worldwide. This genre of jewelry is currently made using the old ways, historic stamps, vintage tools and heavy silver, sterling or ingot. The turquoise comes from the highest quality mines and old collections we have sourced over many years. We only use domestic natural turquoise and never stabilized or treated stones. This new series of jewelry is both highly affordable and desirable allowing even the newest collector the opportunity to enter the Southwest jewelry marketplace.
